What is Motley Chronicles?
Motley is a quarterly subscription box dedicated to bringing you the best Why Choose romances featuring various genres, tropes, kinks, and triggers!
We offer exclusive limited edition hardbacks of your favorite series with all the bells and whistles.
When you start your subscription, or when it renews, you will be charged, but you will not receive that months box for approximately 16-18 weeks afterward.
For example, if you start your subscription on March 1st, you will receive your box sometime in June/July. Your sub will renew on June 1st, and that box will arrive some time in September/October.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! All international shipping rates are calculated by the carriers themselves. We have no control over those costs. Customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Average shipping cost (varies by location): Canada $30 USD, UK $40 USD, AUS $60 USD
What are your policies regarding damaged/missing boxes?
If you have damaged or missing items from your box, please reach out, and we will figure out the best course of action. Things to consider before emailing us:
- All damage/missing item claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery date.
- Damages are reviewed on a case by case basis.
- Damage may be considered as missing pages, a tear/cut or visible gash on the front/back cover or spine, residue or marks on the front cover or spine that cannot be removed, extremely dented or crushed corners, ripped or bent pages that affects the text deeming it unreadable. What we would not consider damage is wavy pages due to humidity, slightly creased/bent top or bottom of spine, ripped/damaged pages that are not detrimental to your reading experience (exception made for damaged character art in Blackout books), residue or marks on the back cover that cannot be removed, etc.
- Photos of the damage and proof of purchase are required.
If your damaged item meets the requirements, you will need to ship your book back to us before we will send out a new copy.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- If your subscription renews, we cannot cancel or refund your order.
- Subscriptions renew on the first of every third month from initial subscription date.
- You must cancel your subscription within 24 hours of renewal. If you email us to cancel your subscription with less than 24 hours to renewal, there is no guarantee we will see it and be able to comply with short notice.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY PAYMENT METHOD OR ADDRESS?
- You are able to update your payment method or current address through your account on the website. Sign in to your account and click "manage subscription."
- Please email us if you need assistance.

- We do not hold packages, delay/reschedule payments, and offer NO skips.
